Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Book Sale Preparations are Underway!

We are beginning to get excited about another year of the wonderful annual Griffin Free Public Library book sale. Many of our wonderful patrons and citizens have already generously provided books, movies, music, audiobooks, and other materials for our sale. But if the past is any predictor, many of you are planning to bring in items over the next couple of months.

As we begin work on the many tasks needed to make the book sale a success, we ask that you keep the following information in mind:

  1. We ask that donations be brought only during operating hours, or by appointment with the library director. Items left on our porch frequently become dirty, buggy, musty, or wet. If our regular hours don’t work for you, please email director@griffinfree.com to set up an alternative time for dropping off your donations.
  2. We will now accept donations year-round! If for any reason you are unable to get your donation in prior to the book sale, we are happy to take it the week after or whenever else you can get it to us. We will store items received too late for the 2013 book sale until the time of the 2014 book sale.
  3. We are not yet working on getting our volunteers for this year’s sale. However, keep your eyes peeled here for new information to be posted as it becomes available.

We appreciate all that you do to support this book sale, and all you do for Griffin Free!
