Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Eagle Scout Project Update

For those who are unaware, Griffin Free was chosen as the site of an Eagle Scout project to be completed over the summer. The outside space in front of our children’s room will be transformed into a patio that can be used for casual reading, programs, classes, or just for relaxing on a nice day.

Our Eagle Scout hopeful will be hard out work leveling the area, putting in paving stones and a fence to border the area, and making the whole thing look wonderful. We are delighted to have been chosen for this, and would like to thank those of you who have donated to this project. Fundraisers at Shorty’s in Manchester and at Myles Travel Plaza in Auburn have given a good boost to the money needed for this project.

If you have not yet made it to one of our fundraisers, please check back for detail on any future events. Additionally, we are happy to accept donations of any size to offset the costs of this project. You can bring your donation to the library any time we are open. All donations are tax deductible, and donors of $50 or more will be recognized on a plaque at the site of the project.

If you have any questions about this project, you can email director@griffinfree.com or call the library. Thanks for supporting the Scouts and for being a part of Griffin Free!
