Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Last Night, and the Future of Presentations at Griffin Free

Griffin Free Public Library would like to thank Margo Burns, the NH Humanities Council, and the Friends of Griffin Free Public Library (who have a meeting next Monday at 7:00 open to anyone interested…) for putting on the great program “The Capital Crime of Witchcraft” last night, which drew a stellar crowd of over 30 people!

It was packed, but very entertaining and educational. I received many compliments that deserve to be given to Ms. Burns for her outstanding knowledge of the topic, engaging format, and ability to keep the session engaging and fun.

As wonderful as last night was, though, I am getting even more excited for the events we have coming up next year. I’m not ready or able to start spilling the beans on specific programs just yet, but there is another change I think many people are going to love.

In 2014, Griffin Free will be getting moveable shelving in the front room, where our programs are held. This shelving will increase our available space for seating, and allow for more comfort and more guests for all of our great programs and classes to come. We are hoping that this new space will entice some local groups and clubs to start considering Griffin Free as a meeting space, as well.

For more on our goals and opportunities for community groups and organizations, contact director@griffinfree.com, and stay tuned for more on the topic right here on our website. Once we have more information on the delivery and installation of our new shelves, I’ll let everyone know!

We hope you will be as excited about these new features as we are. Thanks for reading, and as always thanks for being a part of Griffin Free!
