Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Accessing Your Griffin Free Account Online

Many of our users are enjoying the opportunity to explore their accounts online – where you can renew items, suggest new purchase, place holds on books, review your checkout history, and more! This page is a quick tutorial on accessing your account so that you can take advantage of these features.

To log into your account, visit our catalog at – this can also be accessed via the link on the menu of

On the right side of the page, you will see “Log into your account:” Enter your card number for the login, and the password you provided. If you have not provided us with a password yet, you will need to contact the library to establish one before logging in.

You should see this menu on the left side of your screen:

From the “your summary” page, you can renew your items (if you have valid renewals remaining). The rest of the menu choices will do the following:

  • “your fines” – Griffin Free is fine-free, so there won’t be anything here!
  • “your personal details” – see the address, phone, and email that we have on file for you – and please let us know if that information has changed!
  • “your tags” – this is an advanced feature of the catalog that people generally don’t use. If you wish to know more, contact someone at the library.
  • “change your password” – if you would like to change your password, you can do it here.
  • “your reading history” – see everything you have previously checked out at Griffin Free, and keep up with your reading lists.
  • “your privacy” – change the amount of information stored about your reading history (be careful, we cannot undo what you choose).
  • “your purchase suggestions” – see what you have requested, and place new suggestions.
  • “your messaging” – control what automatic emails you will receive from Griffin Free; you must have a valid email on file with us to receive these emails.
  • “your lists” – this is an advanced feature of the catalog that people generally don’t use. If you wish to know more, contact someone at the library.

We hope this will help you understand and use your account to the fullest. Of course, we encourage you to get in touch with us if you run into any problems or if you have questions about how to use these features.

Thank you for visiting, and for being a part of Griffin Free Public Library!
