Griffin Free Public Library – Auburn, NH

Evening Book Club

Copies of our next Evening Book Club book have arrived!

Stop by Griffin Free and pick up a copy of A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman today! A feel-good story in the spirit of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand, Fredrik Backman’s novel about the angry old man next door is a thoughtful exploration of the profound impact one life has on countless others. “If there was an award for ‘Most Charming Book of the Year,’ this first novel by a Swedish blogger-turned-overnight-sensation would win hands down” (Booklist, starred review).

The date of the next meeting is Wednesday, August 1 at 6:30 PM at Griffin Free Public Library. This group also has a Facebook page that you may join and is led by our volunteer Shannan Welsh.
