Mark your calendars for a very special evening on April 17, 6:30pm as New Hampshire author Brendan DuBois returns to Griffin Free Library to celebrate the launch of two new books he co-wrote with James Patterson! Copies of the new books will be on hand.
Brendan will read from his work, talk about what it’s like to work with the most popular author on the planet and chat about his own life and career as well. There will be plenty of time for Q and A and to get your own books signed.

Brendan DuBois is the award-winning author of more than twenty novels and over 170 short stories. His latest thriller, THE NEGOTIATOR, was published in August 2018 by Midnight Ink.
He’s currently working on a series of works with bestselling novelist James Patterson, with two novels coming out in early 2019: THE FIRST LADY (March 12th) and THE CORNWALLS ARE GONE (March 25th.)
Brendan’s short fiction has appeared in Playboy, The Saturday Evening Post, Analog, Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine, Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, The Strand Magazine, Mystery Journal, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and numerous anthologies including “The Best American Mystery Stories of the Century,” published in 2000, as well as the “The Best American Noir of the Century,” published in 2010.
His stories have thrice won him the Shamus Award from the Private Eye Writers of America, two Barry Awards, a Derringer Award, the Ellery Queen Readers Award, and have also earned him three Edgar Allan Poe Award nominations from the Mystery Writers of America.
He is also a “Jeopardy!” game show champion, and a co-champion for the game show “The Chase.”
Brendan lives in New Hampshire with his wife Mona (commonly known as “The Missus”) and Spencer the Wonder Dog (a English Spaniel Rescue) and Bailey the One-eyed Hellcat (a tuxedo cat rescue).
