A Taste of Lithuania

Join Chef Oonagh Williams for a photographic journey of her experiences in Lithuania on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the Griffin Free Public Library.

Oonagh attended a Lithuanian language summer course at the University of Vilnius (Capital of Lithuania). She researched the cuisine, as well as the culture and heritage. Oonagh has given Lithuanian cooking demos for many years.

  • Enjoy photos, video clips and discussion of History of Lithuania under various rulers and Post Communism
  • See Lithuanian cookbooks, Lithuanian Heritage magazines and tourism books
  • Enjoy Oonagh’s Lithuanian trip scrapbook
  • Taste a Lithuanian buffet

Generous tasting samples of two different Farmer’s Cheeses, soup and dessert. Chef Oonagh has Celiac disease so these dishes are safe for people following a gluten free diet.
