You asked for it and the Friends of Griffin Free Public Library have responded! We now have the NH State Parks Library Pass available!
Each day pass is valid for the date listed on the pass and grants admission for two adults and four children to any day-use park at no additional charge. [Not valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the Flume Gorge, Hampton Beach State Park – South Beach, Wallis Sands State Park, or metered parking. The pass may not be used for camping fees.]
How does it work? Pick a date that you would like to visit a NH State Day Use Park. Call or email the library (483.5374 / staff@griffinfree.org) and request the pass. We will let you know if the pass is available and you may either pick it up using our Porch Pick-Up services or we can email it to you.
Please note: the library pass does not guarantee access to the park if the park is full to capacity. Once you have the Library Pass, it is highly recommended that you reserve your space at the Park by going to: https://www.nhstateparks.org/planning/day-use-reservations. NH State Parks have moved to advanced day-use reservations at all of our parks. When requesting a reservation, you will be charged a $1 non-refundable reservation fee. Additionally, you can indicate that you are a Library Pass holder and the admission fee to the park will be removed and you will only be charged the $1 reservation fee.
