Museum Passes

Other than our regular services, our museum passes are easily the most requested items at Griffin Free. Museum passes are available on a first come basis and cannot be put on hold. Museum passes are provided by the Friends of Griffin Free Public Library and we currently have the following passes available:

American Independence Museum (Exeter, NH)

Free general admission for up to 2 adults and their children under age 18 residing at the same home address.

Currier Museum of Art (Manchester, NH)

Free general admission for up to 2 adults (18 years and over) and all youth family members (ages 13 – 17); children 12 years and under are free; excluding members only events, member discount at the museum shop, Zimmerman House and special ticketed exhibitions.

The Fells (Newbury, NH) – Not Currently Available

Free general admission for up to 2 adults and accompanying children below 18; excluding special programs and events.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center (Concord, NH)

Free general admission for up to 4 adults/children; excluding programs, planetarium shows and special events.

Millyard Museum (Manchester, NH) via the Manchester Historic Association Pass

Free admission to the Exhibit Galleries during public opening hours for up to 4 adults/children; excluding programs and special events.

New England Aquarium (Boston, MA)

Available September 4, 2018 – June 30, 2019. Each discount coupon admits up to four people for a reduced admission rate of $10.00 per person. Reduced-rate admission payment must be paid at the Aquarium Box Office to gain entry. Children under the age of 3 are not included in the admission count and are always admitted free. New Hampshire Historical Society (Concord, NH)

Free general admission to the Society’s exhibitions and research library for up to 4 adults per visit.

Research Center (Manchester, NH) via the Manchester Historic Association Pass

Free admission for up to 4 adults/children; excluding programs and special events.

Seacoast Science Center (Rye, NH)

Each pass allows two adults and up to four children in their household entry into the Seacoast Science Center at a 50% discount. NOTE: Entrance to the Seacoast Science Center is via the Odiorne Point State Park tollbooth. From April-September a park fee may be imposed.

SEE Science Center (Manchester, NH) – SEE will be closed Sept. 3 – 14, 2018 to complete renovations.

Free general admission for two individuals per pass; excluding special exhibits and events.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center (Holderness, NH)

Open May 1 – November 1. Pass provides a discounted admission for two $5.00 trail admissions, plus up to four additional discounted trail admissions for $10 each. Trails are open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The last admission is at 3:30 PM and the parking lot closes at 5:30 PM. This pass may not be used by schools or other organized groups.

Strawbery Banke Museum (Portsmouth, NH)

Pass admits 2 adults and four children. Free admission to ‘Baby Animals’ exhibit in April and to guided tours in November and December. Hours are seasonal so check the museum’s website for current schedule.

Wright Museum of World War II (Wolfeboro, NH)

Free general admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children (under 18) per visit.
