Plant A Seed , Read Summer Reading Challenge

June 17 - August 15

2026 summer reading challenge

This years’ summer reading challenge is “Plant a Seed, Read”

Plant a Seed, Read is rooted in the concept of farm-to-table. A farm grows food that nourishes our bodies; a library grows ideas that nourish our minds. Both food and stories connect us to our family, culture, economy, and ecology.

Beginning June 17th start recording all the BOOKS or PAGES you read. Sign in to your Beanstack account and register for this years challenge. There are 4 different age categories to choose from; Adult (over 18 years), Teens (13 to 17 years), Children (6 to 12 years), and Youngsters (0 to 5 years).

Adults receive raffle tickets towards prizes, Teens and Children will choose prizes for certain number of pages they read and youngsters will be able to track their books with stickers!

The summer of 2025 had our Adults reading more than 225 books and our teens and children read over 91,000 pages!

Can we beat these totals this year?

Visit our website services “Reading Challenges” to create a Beanstack account; start reading today!
