Something Big Has Moved To Auburn!

This month, something colossal arrived at our library, our very own backyard DINOSAUR! Thanks to the generous donations from our incredible community, we were able to bring this larger-than-life friend home to stay forever in our outdoor park area.

We celebrated the grand unveiling in true Dino style. Our local preschool class joined us for the big reveal, helping pull back the curtain to introduce our new prehistoric pal to the world. Afterward, they stayed for a special dinosaur-themed story time filled with giggles, roaring, and lots of excitement.

And the timing couldn’t be better because… it’s Dino-vember! What better way to celebrate than welcoming a new Dino resident who’s ready for endless photo ops, curious visitors, and imaginative play?

There is one last problem… our dinosaur needs a name! Stay tuned for details about our upcoming naming contest. We can’t wait to see what creative ideas the donors come up with for our community to vote on.

Stop by soon to meet our newest (and oldest!) library friend, he’s here to stay, and he can’t wait to make new visitors smile. If you snap a picture with our backyard Dino post it to our Facebook page with the hashtag #Griffindino!
