Meet the Library Director
Director Dan Szczesny is a long-time New Hampshire resident and an award-winning journalist and writer. He began working at Griffin Free Public Library in 2014 as a part- time Library Assistant helping to plan events and author readings. In 2022, he became director. His favorite book is The Snow Leopard by Peter Matthiessen.

Library Trustees
A locally-elected board of library trustees oversees each public library in New Hampshire. In Auburn, the Board of Library Trustees consists of three members who are elected by the public to serve for staggered three-year terms. Our current trustees are:
