Griffin Free Public Library is teaming with Jinx Inks Publishing and author Naomi Fredette of Auburn for a fun, free family event on Thursday, October 16 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The “Not So Spooky Story Walk” will feature vendors, games, candy, sensory experiences and a live reading of Naomi’s latest children’s book, Willow’s Way. Costumes are encouraged!
The story trail behind the library will be updated with pages from Willow’s Way, a sweet tale that follows Willow, a young witch, who is about to come into her powers. But before she sets off into the night, in Black Forest Pine, her well-meaning elders bombard her with advice she never asked for.
This event is a wonderful way to celebrate the season with toddlers and preschoolers in a gentle, not-so-spooky way! It will take place rain or shine.
Please note: This event will include sensory bins which may contain small objects. Adult supervision is required.
(The author, publisher and library will not be responsible for any injury.)
